BD 330 owners
Any owners from Wisconsin, Michigan, or Minnesota please reply here...
I will choose one lucky person to possibly get a visit from me so I can check out the BD 330 before purchasing one.
Thanks.
Ron.

Re: The broad broadhead discussion
I am not sold on the not opening deal at slower speeds. I would be more concerned with penetration/pass through at slower speeds but I also realize foc has a lot to do with it. Last fall I used 18" Spynal Tapps w/110 grain brass inserts tipped with 125 grain Nap Spit Fire 3 blade broad heads wi...

Re: 308 Short questions
The Hawke XB 30 Pro SR is a very nice scope if you like practicing longer yardage ( which I do) I practice out to 60 - 80 yards a lot, which makes me more comfortable at normal shooting distances. If you won't be doing long range target practice ask around about a good scope with less aiming points....

If I can't wait for the weekend when I can go to our cabin (40 minute drive)...
I have a rag target I set up in my back yard and shoot from my deck towards the woods which is 40 yards from my deck.

I have a few flemish twist strings for the Matrix line that are used but have lots of life left which could use a new home. (I have way too many) I would prefer they go to someone financially strapped or someone wishing to try a flemish twist string. These will fit the Matrix 310 - 330 - 355 - 380 -...

Re: OT: Saying Goodbye...
Sorry for your loss. It is truly heartbreaking when they leave us. Our last chocolate lab was rescued out of an abusive family and took about a month before she allowed herself to get close to me, but after that we were inseparable. She new when it was the weekend and could tell when I was heading t...

Re: What's you deer combo for this year?
Matrix 310 Hawke XB30 Pro SR Nap Spitfire 3 blade 125 grain 18" Spynal Tapps (426 gr w/broadheads) This set-up is a little heavy for the Matrix 310 but the 2 deer I shot last year never flinched until the arrow had done it's work. Both were complete pass through's and one was at 42 yards. The 8...

Don't need anything on the rail...
Need a stringing aid to keep brace height adjusted
I use a rag target for target tips, and a block target for broadheads.

Re: Owning four Excalibur’s
I owned three at one point but am back down to one, which is where I will probably stay.
My Matrix 310 is big enough for the hunting that I do, and is easy enough to cock by hand for a couple hours target shooting.

I got hooked on Muskies about 30 years ago.
The addiction was so bad it was all I wanted to do.
Then one day I remembered how good walleye and crappie tasted....
