Re: Arrow Weight-Does 14 Grains Matter?
....I would still contact them and see if they at least could make some sought of adjustment on a future purchase...you did not get what you ordered! Anthony :) I agree with Anthony, recently I bought some small game tips off of Amazon, they sent me the wrong ones. I got 100g instead of 125g. They ...

Several of you mentioned wrapping the stirrup. Can anyone share a favorite method or things to avoid in doing so?

You can't see the invisible twister board, but this was left leg green, right leg blue. You just caught the perfect spin!

Re: Micro Club?
I have one, I love it. No other Excals, but g-pa has a Parker, I have a Barnett and the micro is smaller, faster, better. If I had an unlimited budget I'd buy a Nightmare. I have literally done nothing with it. I plan on doing the wildcatter noise dampening thing. Everything about this bow is awesom...

Re: 1 pound trigger job done with a emery board
I've been thinking of starting a "what's the best religion" thread Yeah, that wouldn't get heated fast! I also read the name of the thread and was wanting to read the scathing remarks from the regulars, and then read the "I've done that" by those people who just like to be...

Re: Which Excal Model starts yer Season ?
Hmm, Let's see. I have a Barnett Quad 400 that busted and is in for warranty, I have a Micro, and... That's about it. So I'm going to have to go with the Micro. Not going to lie though, I am so excited about this hunting season. Yesterday while I was running I saw a nice buck, not as big as the one ...

Re: Reduced Noise Results W/Micro 335
Wildcatter, If I don't have access to the foam that your friend has, what is the best kind of foam that I can buy from the store? I imagine the 3X expanding wouldn't work, don't know if I can just stuff foam insulation in there. I have seen the limb savers on other things. I'll have to buy some. Wha...

Re: micro accuracy results with different bolt weights
OK, based on the input I ordered new arrows from Wyvern. On his site there is arrows made up for the micro which made my decision process simpler. South Shore gave me LOTS of options to customize exactly what I want but I am not there yet knowledge-wise to make educated decisions. From Wyvern's: &q...

Re: micro accuracy results with different bolt weights
To be honest, I have never even shot the stock quills in my micro. They are still in the little clip holder that they came in. I would say that they seem pretty light, i just got some 125 grain muzzy small game tips for them and will attempt to blow them up on some squirrels or raccoons  . I ...

Re: confused micro bolts
I feel like I've suggested this before but I bought 12 quills from Wyvern Creations, I am happier than a pig in poop. They take 100g tips, and I've been shooting Muzzy's. I can't fathom how accurate they are. Freehand at 40 yards I am hitting in the middle of the middle of the middle... You get the ...

Re: Newbies and experts please read
ADF just makes sense. I'm not going to fault those who don't like it. Not a big deal. My bro went to shoot my bow and slid the arrow back to the ADF rail, heard it "click", and was gonna shoot it! Thankfully I noticed it. I like the Idea of ADF if I have the bow cocked and am walking back ...
