Matrix 380/Zombie Accuracy
About a month ago I tried shooting 2 arrows with Xbow Tricks(175g) and 1 with an FOC(170g) to see impact point differences. Arrows: 18" Zombie, 26g AL inserts, helical Blazers, plastic moon nocks. I aimed at each of the 3 horizontal dots. The R & L dots were the Xbow tricks, center was FOC....

ANOTHER Micro 335 comparison
Today I shot a Micro 335. After assembly, I shot the xbow @10 yds with factory arrow/125g field point: almost dead on, then 20 yds - 1" L. 2 clicks rt and right on. 30 yds and 325'/sec on scope - 1.3" hi. Appx 335'/sec on scope - dead on, minute adjustment at 50 . 50 yd 3 shot gp 1.4"...

Re: Matrix 355 or micro 335?
I have extensively equipped M380 & M405. Incredible accuracy, ease of handling, etc. Though I can cock the 405 with the rope, I use the C-2 for back preservation. I'm also setting up a Mini for a friend's wife(Christmas from husband to wife). My take: all 3 are class acts. If I knew all possible...

Micro vs Matrix Pictures
Here are pictures of my M380 and a friend's Micro. There is quite a bit of difference in size. I really like both. Surprisingly, there is virtually no weight difference. Each has it's own pros and cons which affect different people differently. No one size fits all. Still, many keep wanting to see t...

Re: I'll let you know!
Spitfires are excellent broadheads. Over 50 consecutive kills! They work! Just so many great choices out there!!

Happy Birthday also, Don. I hope your b'day and Christmas present(s) don't get lumped together unless it's BIG. Or small like a 235M.

Re: FOC again!
Yes, it's a leaf. I think that huge wound is where the arrow went in, stayed in, for a while, and came out. I've never had a wound entry nor exit approaching that size with any of my 14 kills/FOC nor my son's 5-6 kills/FOC. I know the young man: believe his story. Don't think he threw an ax at it.

Re: FOC again!
Surely the hit was at a low angle to cut the way it did. The arrow wasn't found but was in the deer as he ran away. The recovery was 2 days later a long way away. Blood trail all the way but eventually very sparse.

FOC again!
I'm now 14/14 with FOCs. All down quickly, not all good hits. I posted a thread entitled "Nice Deer" a couple of days ago. Here's another picture of that deer as it was found. The deer was running, 10-12 yds, rush shot by one of my son's friends (read narrative on the actual thread) . M380...

Re: Just got a Excal M380... wow, very LOUD!!!
Boo's web site has some very good reading. He tells on there what he did to quieten his M380. Go back thru the thread list on this site and you'll find a # of tips on how to quieten your Matrix. The greatest noise seems to come from the arrow hold down spring hitting the arrow rail. Coating it with ...
