Re: Scopes
Thanks Paul
Yes it does help.
I would be shooting at a fixed mag of 7-8x not varying it at all so I was thinking that once zeroed at 20yds,on the optimiser all would be good at all distances

Scopes
There's been a bit of scopey chat on here recently and I have a couple of queries. First off does anybody know what the Leupold parallax is set to. Second ,I'm thinking of changing my crossbones to a scope with a simpler reticle, just cross hairs and posts possibly a Leupold VX1 3-9x40. I'll be using...

Re: New member looking for input
Bubble is absolutely invaluable for shooting 3ds across slopes I just had no idea how much I'd canted the bow till I checked the bubble.

Re: New member looking for input
Hi there Little Count I'm in UK and we shoot 3ds in our society. Range from 1- 70m with most shots being in the 18-35m distance, unmarked. Our society has a speed limit of 300fps . Rules dictate recurve bows only so we are restricted to very few bows that we can use Favourite is the vixen which gets ...

Hydro Dipping Limbs
Well I'm embarking on another custom bow build with a matrix . I've got a set of limbs that are real tree and I'm going with the idea of having them dipped black carbon . Has anyone of you good folk done anything like this. I'm wondering how that process lasts . Don't want to do it if it flakes off ...

Re: Arrow smithing lessons
How about a video Don for those of us that are out of reach ..... You should have married a gal whose birthday is the same as your own like I did :D Mind you that don't count for much if your memory is the same as mine. It counts as a minor victory if I go into the next room for something and I can ...

Re: My Strirup screws are very very tight. Is there a proble
Gravity doesn't work on the equator.
The water just stays in the bowl...
This is due to being at the point of the planet where centripetal force due to the earths rotation is greatest.
That's similar to centrifugal force but different.
