Re: Problems using a Excalibur stringing aid
Hook the rope cocker to the stringing aid rope the same way you do when you cock the bow. Makes it easy to pull back. This was not in the instructions that came with the rope cocker But sounds easy now... Thanks Most of us did the same thing you did when we bought our first Excal. The older bows it...

Re: Youth Stocks
The Cub stock will probably fit the larger Matrix models if you are so inclined but in my opinion the Cub as is would be more than adequate to drop any deer. I don't think it will fit the other Matrix bows if the pics in the new catalog are correct. The stock looks a little different. Looks like it...

Re: Youth Stocks
TPM, I understand what you are saying, but I don't think it would be hard for Excal to come out with a youth stock for the Matrix and the Micro. This would allow us who want them to purchase them for our kids. The Micro for example would be a great kid's bow in my opinion, but the stock could be a l...

Re: Deflection question
I have seen arrows do funny things once they enter the animal. I don't think you have an issue with your equipment. Broadhead hit bone or tissue that caused it to deflect up. The blades being bent means it hit something hard.

Re: Youth Stocks
Yes, but with a crank they could and most kids (under 16) are hunting with an adult anyway.Normous wrote:Valid point but the 2 boys across the road who are athletic and play hockey can't cock my 380 no matter how much they tried. I am thinking the 355 will be too much for them the way I see it.

Youth Stocks
Why not make an adjustable length of pull stock for the Matrix and Micro bows? The Micro bow would be a great youth bow, but it would sure be nice if the stock was a little shorter for kids. I am fortunate that all of my kids have been big for their age and can manage with the adult stocks. Not ever...

Re: Can't Keep My Head Down
Lighted nocks will help as you can see the arrow if you keep your head in the scope.

Re: Micro question
I talked to Dave and was told he uses the accudraw on his 380 conversions and that is the max TenPoint told him the gut's were good for, which is 10# lighter than the Micro,,,,, I would sure hate to have 265 lbs on it after using one a while and have it let go!!! He said the sled and string are goo...
