The Cub stock will probably fit the larger Matrix models if you are so inclined but in my opinion the Cub as is would be more than adequate to drop any deer. I have seen arrows do funny things once they enter the animal. I don't think you have an issue with your equipment. Broadhead hit bone or tissue that caused it to deflect up. The blades being bent means it hit something hard.

Why not make an adjustable length of pull stock for the Matrix and Micro bows? The Micro bow would be a great youth bow, but it would sure be nice if the stock was a little shorter for kids. I am fortunate that all of my kids have been big for their age and can manage with the adult stocks. Not ever...

Lighted nocks will help as you can see the arrow if you keep your head in the scope.
