Re: Little deer

Those are cool. My friend has some photos of some tiny deer in Florida that have nice racks like whitetails, but miniature. He blew up a photo of a 10 pointer, it looked very impressive, then he showed the one at regular frame size with the background, wow, about the size of a 6 month old German She...

Re: Small diameter strings?

X2! I use Rhino for it's strength, and accuracy, speed is my last concern. That bow should be fast enough for hunting.

X2. Let's minimize the variables. If you make three changes, you really don't which one did anything! :?

Re: Is this normal

Can you snap a few pictures of this crossbow, showing the string in relation to the bumpers, etc. Get as clear, and close as you can please, and then we can try to see what is going on. I think we are missing a few pieces to the puzzle here. If your replacement string is doing fine, and the stock st...

Re: Is this normal

Nope, there is something wrong. Check scope mount first, make sure it is tight. Check rings also, there is something going goofy here. If you twist the string CCW, and it moves the brace height up, then there is something else interfering with your accuracy.

Re: Downsize?

I cut some down to 16" and they were fine out to 30 yards. I did not add weight to the front, and that might have improved the accuracy out past that distance. I was going to try 150 grain points, but never got around to it.

I don't think you settled at all if you got the 380, I have the 355, and it's all I need, and then some. Congrats on a fine bow!
