Re: Still hunting Crossbow

I finally got talked into the micro 335 by some buddies and although I have had some issues with it carrying it is not...

Re: O/T Shotgun Turkey Hunters
I hunted with a guy from Georgia about 7 years ago in New Mexico. I have never met a guy that could call a turkey like him. Never used a decoy ever and man what a turkey caller and killer. The only call he ever used was a box call. I know it was a lynch but other than that not sure. He told me he we...

Re: O/T Shotgun Turkey Hunters
Last year I went to the Federal 3rd degrees . The pattern is consistent without holes . :) Sometimes your best call is no call . Remember the hen is supposed to go to the tom . So overcalling just don`t sound right to him . But hunters at times are hunting the gobble more than the gobbler . I...

Re: O/T Shotgun Turkey Hunters
I would say the number one thing is actually having access to land that has turkeys on or near it lol The farm we deer hunted this year has plenty of turkey. We would hear them every morning just to the south of where we were mostly hunting. We have permission already locked down so that part is co...
