Re: Fed up with Lumizone - have to find an alternative scope

I have been spoiled by Leupolds optics for years.None of the less expensive imports can compete in brightness or clarity.I decided early this summer that I wanted to up grade from the red dot to a scope.I just could not bring myself to buy one of the Chinese manufacture scopes because I knew that I ...

Re: String leeches

Last fall I bought some of the "Bow Jacks" brand string leeches. They use some(one on each side of each leech)tiny zip ties to secure them to the string.I was aware from reading some posts on the forum that keeping the leeches on the string was not easy, but thought now these will stay put ...

Re: getting ready!

I got the Exomax back together the other day.I have filled the voids in the stock with foam, added to the height on the cheek piece, and put a recoil pad on it to quiet down the plastic butt .I got a Leupold 2.5x compact scope and had Leupold adjust the parallax to 25 yrds. I installed the scope and b...

Re: Setting out Pop-up Blinds..

I set mine up a couple of weeks before opening day and leave it till archery season is over. That leaves it up about six weeks.I was lazy one year and left it up all of gun season too.It had the famous "pink" tone to it and was not in such good shape.I dont think that sun rain and wind are ...

Re: Kodabow

Ray,your soooo bad.Hope the pain management is working. I think that the reason all of us shoot Excaliburs is that we love to be bored watching arrow after arrow go into the same hole. But I also kinda think that this is why they make more than one flavor of ice cream, they are all good, but some lik...

Re: The Truth...

I have just gotten back my Leupold compact 2.5x that I had Leupold reset the parallax to 25 yrds. They are very small, light, and gather light like you wouldnt believe. You can pick these up on e-bay or gunbroker for a smidge over 100.00 and Leupold gets 15.00 to reset the parallax.Leupolds also carry...
