Mike,
My thoughts and well wishes are with both of you... In my case, I have several of your strings on hand so there's no need to hurry as I have those new ones, as well as a few which I have "shot in" and have ready to go as back up strings.

Re: Thoughts on 308 Short
You mentioned already having a Micro 335.... Is it a gen 1 or 2 ? If it's a gen 1 you can make it into a Micro 315 by simply putting your current limbs into a gen 2 riser and mounting it to your Micro gen 1 335 rail which has a 9 1/2" power stroke  This could put you into a slighty eas...

Thanks to all of you well wishers. I spent the past 3 days visiting family over on the "Dry Side" of the state... I had a wonderful time and a "Boat Load" of family joined in today for dinner and desert at the home of my brother... It really was a Great day !

   Jansey I'll let you tear your's apart to check out internals and quality inside  I'm happy with this latest one just as it is 8) ... It looks to mirror my XB30's with the exception of the slight variation in the recticle, which I happen to appricate as it allows me an addition...

Trophy Ridge XV530iR has arrived.... Wow !
I saw these mentioned here in the Crossbow Hunting forum as being available thru Ebay for $ 104.99 including shipping. I just had to pull the trigger on one, to see what all the hype was about, as guys mentioned them being very similar to, if not the same as Hawke XB30 pros. ( Which happen to be my ...

Possibly a lock of sorts on that model, ? but, on a "discontinued" Hawke XB30 Compact I bought used, it seems the P/O had removed it a some point.. I contacted Hawke complaininhg the crosshairs would not change to correspond with various speeds I dialed in...They told me it should never ha...

Re: Hawke scope with blue reticle?
Better yet... if the main tube is 30 mm in Dia. it's more likely some type of early XB30 ( standard 1" rings will not fit ).... If it has a 1'' diamater ? that pretty much implies its a XB1 .... #1 equals 1" dia the "30" designation denotes it has a 30 mm diameter. ( IMO, XB30's ...

Re: Ground blind ripoff
I picked up a couple PRIMOS blinds years back ( about the time they acquired Double Bull ) ... Got them at Cabelas for about $200 ea. ( I think maybe $200 back then is "the new " $400 now ? ) Having 360 deg. vision and shooting capability I have been very satisified,,, I do use long...

That may be the case... I don't think the ones I had were made using the 1/2 ball but rather the round one.

Re: New guy Question
Everyone seems to have their own "string recipe" once the new string finishes stretching. Initiatlly I set mine with a 1/2"-5/8" gap and they will quickly stretch after shooting for some time ( the stretch process can be sped up some by leaving your bow cocked overnight putting m...

Re: Guardian ADF question
When you remove and relocate the hold down spring you will need to very carefully remove the thin piece of rubber material that isolates it from scope base and re-use it in the same manner, but on the opposite side of the hold down spring... pretty easl peasy... just try not to tear the rubber and d...

Re: Trophy Ridge XV530IR ON SALE
I have 2 of the XB 30's now. One is older model with the circle around the main crosshair it's on the Genll 335 and the other newer model, with simply crosshairs. is on my Micro 355. I'm happy with either micro regardless of the one I pick up while heading out the door. Both scopes meet my requireme...

I'll go along with Dan in suggesting a Micro.... I have both a camo gen ll 335 and a camo 355 Micro. For deer either is great ! When heading out into the jungle on the WA coast for elk... even though I have a perfectly good Matrix 380, I pick up my 355 Micro as it gets thru that brushy coasta...
