Re: Anybody use one a deese
I use my Caldwell field pod and keep it at lap level so I can pick it up without a lot of movement .Don’t hunt from a tree any more just ground blinds. I think that Caldwell makes a shooting rest for a tree stand. W.M.

Re: Legal in Wisconsin
I did call the DNR and could not fine anything wrong with using the 2 shot crossbow , it is just a advancement in technology , as I was told. I think you all are putting to much into this matter . as far as I'm concerned they are legal . no diff, than a double barrel shot gun.

Gonna build me a hunting blind in the pines and plant some stuff for the deer and turkeys and fence it in so it will grow and take down the fence in...

If it were me I would write all this stuff down and when you are my age you will have something to laugh about . Your luck can't get any worse . Hang in there it will change.

I shoot a Griztrick 2 that is a 1 1/4 " and a Magnus Ser Razor that is also 1 1/4 " both are fixed blade and no matter wish way they are installed they all fly the same for me . I have also tryed them on a spinning insert and made no difference. JMO

Re: Kevlar serving?
I like to spray some silicone on a fiber cloth and rub down the rail every 30 or so shots and with the waxing of the string you should be fine . auto store should carry spray silicone , just don't spray the rail or it will get all over your scope . I don't see any wear on my rails at all.

Re: Kevlar serving?
I found it does not melt like AM when you finish it so I just put a drop of fletching glue on it , that seems to work for me.

Re: Kevlar serving?
I stand corrected . Just talked to Eric at South shore Archery and he said 20 to 22# for tension on the serving tool, 200# does seem like a lot , sorry for the wrong info. I just know it has been working for me.
