C2 Cocking aid with the brass bolt missing?
I just received a C2 cocking aid (#2199) I ordered from an eBay merchant to use on a Micro 335. The C2 is in the factory-sealed blister package but there is no brass bolt in there to connect it to the bow. I've sent the merchant a message but I'm wondering if these can be obtained elsewhere (Excalib...

Re: Exocet 200 and Heavy Bolts
Interesting article. Kinda like putting a formula to what we already know to be true. Thanks for posting.

Re: EXCALIBUR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!!
I’m in the midst of getting a cocking rope issue corrected with them and can add to the praises for their customer service. When my cocking rope appeared to be getting cut inside the bow after not many shots I contacted them, got an RMA, and sent the bow to Port Huron. Within an hour of its being re...

Re: Cerra coating
I have one gun with a Cerakote finish and I like it. Its a lever action that sees some potential rough use in wet conditions which is why I did it in the first place. I really hadn’t considered Cerakoting the Gen 1 Micro 335 I just bought but now you got me thinking.

Re: Can somebody explain Canadian Post for the Southerner?
OK - that seems to work. I entered the Canadian number in the USPS app and it worked. The Assassin is currently trying to make its way into the US at either Mississauga or Stoney Creek (the apps don’t quite agree on that). I hope it has its passport and doesn’t try to sneak anything in. :D Thanks fo...

Re: Can somebody explain Canadian Post for the Southerner?
Thanks bigbowman. I wasn’t particularly worried about losing it. I did want to be able to track it though since a signature is required and I wanted someone to be sure to be present when the blessed event occurs.

Can somebody explain Canadian Post for the Southerner?
For reasons I won’t go into here, Excalibur is sending me a new Assassin in exchange for my old one. I expected it to be shipped from Port Huron but instead it was shipped from Kitchener. So I have a Canadian Post tracking number and have the Canadian Post app and can track it for now. I’m very fami...

Re: Are we nuts?
Good thought provoking comments Don. I've gone from longbow to recurve to compound to crossbow (Excal - not a compound) mainly to make it easier on myself. But I sure see the temptation of speed. Back when I was shooting a longbow the guys at our indoor range used to kid me about using the chronogra...

What about the Assassin? Lots of features (crank, great trigger).
