I found my arrow and it was destroyed at the nock end. The lighted nock was gone and the end of arrow was spintered.
When he bolted it probably caught his leg.

Wool socks with heat pads on toes. I wear rocky 1200 gr thinsalte boots. Today it's 32* so I'm going out for the last 2 1/2 hours to kill whatever comes by. I'm getting tired of waiting for the big one.

The rut is still going on, I had a nice 8pt at 40yds and a broken off 6pt at 10yds from me. The 8 didn't give me a clear shot and I let the broken 6 walk.

Moving to a new house can be fun and then again a lot of work. I’ve been hunting but the deer are not cooperating. The big bucks on camera have disappeared so I’m going through pop whatever comes thru. Gun deer starts tomorrow but my area is bow only. Good luck to everybody!

My brother and I passed on 2 small bucks but I haven’t been seeing a lot of doe. I’m going out this afternoon and see if I can tag one.
