I agree !SEW wrote: I'm doing this very soon. Actually, the BD400 vs the M380/405. I wanted to do it just prior to likely higher purchase time for the upcoming hunting season. I do think there is one overall winner.

Re: SERIOUS safety issue with the Grizzly Tigger
Get that trigger serviced, Excal will make it better! I know what the vpsaline is saying, Some of these newer bows seem to have a very long, creepy, dragging trigger. Now just imagine starting to squeeze that trigger on a deer and have it move and you have to let up before getting through that long ...

Re: test subjects
Be sure to try them with broadheads also. I plan to test some more this summer but was very disappointed last fall when I put broadheads on my arrows and they were way off.
Look forward to your review.

Re: Matrix 350LE
I thought it was a smidge shorter than the 355? I could be wrong, wish I had a 355 rail around to compare. Either way she is a beauty of a crossbow for sure.robertyb wrote:It has a longer power stroke.Arrowflinger wrote:Kinda curious why some think that the 350LE may be shooting a little faster than the 355 ?

Re: Impression on the Bulldog at Boo's place
Boo when you have a chance could you post measurements of the bulldogs width cocked and uncocked. Maybe even the weight with the xb30 pro you have mounted in the other thread. Thanks I haven't mounted a Hawke scope on this Bulldog. Measurements are 30 and 23.25". Thanks Boo, I got mixed up on ...

Re: TriggerTech triggers
I emailed Trigger Tech and received a reply in three minutes. Wow His words were: ------------------------- Hi Mark - Yes, it will work just fine on the 240 draw. It will be a bit heavier, but no concern with respect to safety or performance. FG ------------------------- So the 2 stage its on its w...

Looking forward to more reviews on the bulldog! Might just have to find a local shop that has one and try it myself.

I like my two stage a lot! Buy it and if you don't like it you will have no problem selling it. Heck I would probably buy it from you if you didn't like it.

Re: New 3d Shooter
Very nice! How does the powder coat hold up and does it seem to wear any different on your serving? I have been thinking about powder coating a rail and riser.
Thanks

Re: Bulldog at Boo's
So do you guys think the riser design makes it sound more like a micro when shot VS say a matrix 380?

Re: kills per arrow ratio
I have three kills on one of my GT arrows from my scorpyd. This year I ran aluminum arrows most of the time in my Matrix on a marshy property I was hunting because the ground usually eats them. I have some 2216 tipped with muzzys, built them for about $5 each including broadhead.

Re: New M380
The 380s come with 18 inch diablos so they should work fine. There are better arrows out there you might want to look into after season. Don't over look the aluminum arrows you have either. For my cub(same as your grizzly), matrix 330 and 345 I shoot 15.5 inch 2216 splinters half of the time. A 15.5...
