they are running now

Well its been a crazy yet fun season :) We had a visitor from the tarheel state however he really is a keystoner and he successfully wacked a nice 11/2 year old 7 pt. we did not have much movement while he was here as its was fairly warm for Wisconsin. Then a week later my son shot a real nice 21/2 ...

Re: Bucks chasing does

Here in south central WI. We are just starting to see the boys harassing them. Then we warm up and it all goes night time. Lots of night pictures and very little daytime. We got a real nice 9pt last Sunday right at 1st light he showed very little in the way of being rev'd up. I think the next 7 to 1...

Re: What ya got for Binoculars?

I carry Leica 10x25 for the bow hunt and Leica 10x42 for with the rifle and use a Leica range finder 800, worth every penny. I also had a pair of Zeiss 10x25 that were real nice but I gave them to my friend and big game guide in B.C for a Xmas gift.

Re: Ramcat 125 grain crossbow broadhead

I've been shooting them for over 3 years ,, actually I am using the 100gr. head with the 125 replacement blades for a 104gr. head. multiple deer, big holes and short trails :) and no issues with the stirrup but mine is not wrapped as I don't worry about the noise because when I hear it they are alre...

Re: Hurricane Mathew...that was a ride

Having gone thru 2 major floods in 1972 and 1976 while in the Pena. and now getting to witness tornadoes in the flat lands , I have come to understand that mother nature is more powerful then anything man can do, but thru the destruction you can witness the best that man has to offer just open your ...

Re: To Shoot or Not to Shoot???

Well, I would pass in fact if we have steady rain I won't hunt with my bow and when I hunt with a rifle I leave the 257rbts in the case and break out my cannon :D so that even with not the greatest hit I knock them on their A$$ I have been on two many night time excursions in the rain helping buddie...
