Re: Lord Stanley's Cup
Just a quick off topic post. If any of you Montreal folks want the Cup, you're gonna have to come to Tampa and take it from our cold dead hands. It prefers to stay in the warm sunshine state. See you at center ice. :D :D If it’s an “off topic” post then why post in crossbow hunting? Why not post in...

Re: Favorite Cold Weather Gear
Same here buddy heater and a good pair of Alpaca socks. Heater keeps the upper body warm but the feet are on the ground so it can be cold when not moving around.Hillcountry wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 7:12 pmMy Big Buddy heater in my ground blind seems to be the only way I can sit for longer than an hour or two…

Re: favorite gun manufacturer
I really like my old trusty Remington 870 wing master, Bennelli super eagle 3 and Tikka t3 270 win. And lately my Fabarm O/U Elos N2 sweet gun for trap. I have others but these are my favs.

Seems like the Phoenix and Leupold are a perfect match. May you Phoenix Leupold have many successful hunts together.

Re: E Bikes For Hunting
How are they in deep mud? I don’t really have any mud…just a couple brooks to traverse. BUT that’s why I like the Rungu Duallie…check them out! The twin front wheels (one rear) gives more stability in shifty conditions like mud/sand/snow. Hopefully the prices will be coming down after this woohanfl...

Re: Very hard turkey year for us here but the fishing is on fire.
Hard spring turkey hunting this year is right. They won’t answer our calls, won’t cross over fields as they always do, seems to me they are being educated. But after numerous mornings finally jackpot caught them sneaking behind me and you guess it he didn’t have a chance at 12 yards! Next day he was...

Just reading about a human testing going on in Nebraska of a new “vaccine type” for lyme disease, so there maybe hope, fingers crossed. Re: Ticks, ticks ticks,
I treat all my hunting clothes with permethrin before each hunting season. I also have clothes pretreated and good up to 70 washes and the tag states do not retreat and discard properly so my question is why can’t I retreat it with permethrin? Because they want you to buy more. I re-treat mine ever...
