Re: Trouble logging in
I also bought an Excalibur because of this forum, it was a big help and wealth of knowledge in making the decision on which crossbow to purchase. One thing that stood out was the excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE that was frequently mentioned and being able to get these bows back in working order in short ...

Re: Twinstrike
There is a Twinstrike listed on the Allentown Pa Craigs list for $750. Personally, I wouldn't want one at any price, but apparently there is a niche market for them, and I understand the thought process behind producing them, just not for me.

Re: Greetings from Spain
Here in Pa the city people call us rural folks "hicks", but we do have a "Redneck Festival" in a town near us.
On occasion we have a Sasquatch sighting, but it always turns out to be one of the locals!
Welcome Pablo!

Re: Dumb Question
I was going to suggest that also if it fits, maybe the bigfoot stirrup is another thing to look at.
I can just barely fit my boot into the stirrup on my Matrix 380, I would have to think it would hurt if the stirrup slipped off the boot while cocking it!

Re: Feeling old....
I don't feel old, I AM OLD! I'm 75 and my hunting buddy is 70, we joke that between us we couldn't equal one good young hunter. We used to hunt the mountains of Maine and drug some 200#+ buck out, we also hunted PA 2 1/2 miles back and 2 benches down from the top of a mountain for a few years. Those...

Re: My rut weather stinks!
WHAT RUT, we aren't finding hardly any scrapes, and when we do, they are small with rubs on trees about the size of your index finger. We are still seeing buck together, looks like the rut will be late this year in our area. Just did read something promising though, the body shops are noticing a rec...

Re: Gear tip deer cart
You could always attach a bicycle hand pump to the cart----just in case!
I have a spare shaft collar, a spare tire, a spare innertube, a tire pressure gauge, and a hand pump on my cart, totally out of the way, but there if I should ever need them.

 Looks like you are learning Joe, I could relate more than a few similar stories! Lesson learned, now we don't tell anyone anything, I never minded sharing info., until as you said, the people you shared the info. with are suddenly more than a "little close" to where you are hunting, ...

Re: Homemade scent killer
I had 6-8 deer come down a trail I was walking on where there was a small tree in the middle and the trail went around it on both sides, I was rifle hunting and stood behind that small tree with the rifle in the Y as they came toward me, they never knew I was there until they either got alongside me...

Re: OT: Peta - Things You Can't Make Up
Maybe if some of the women in politics who don't know what they are talking about would keep their big mouths shut there would be much less CO2 being emitted, maybe include a few men also! I cringe when AR-15's are referred to as full auto or machine guns, maybe some should do a little resear...
