Re: Bulldog 440

Eighteen inches is stock. There are no issues with broadheads. I shot my 405 at 50 yards with G5 Strikers and got about an inch. With G5 Striker Magnums (1.5") the grouping was less than 2 inches. I used stock BEA Executioners and I aligned the broadheads. Thanks Don, I'm shooting the same as ...

Bulldog 440

Are the arrows/bolts 18" stock? For those who shoot the higher poundage bows how do you think a fixed blade is gonna shoot or group with that kinda speed? That is having a good combination FOC and all, I'm a fixed blade shooter. Thanks...

Re: Micro 335 Questions

Yes it is a nice bow, if only I could use another. For my hunting situations I think I'm covered, I still view a Xbow as a short range hunting tool. I agree LBJ the Matrix line or long bows are the keepers.

Re: Micro 335 Questions

Thanks for the input gentlemen, these bows were at Dunham's sporting goods. I had seen the 335's in the store before but none the last two years until Saturday, stock overlooked? Don't know but for those who's states have the store and maybe looking for a new bow? Might be worth a call?

I do not think you will do any better than that it is a very good price the scope is the dead zone not illuminated but will kill deer all day long but fussy shooter may want to upgrade but it is a good buy.
"Fussy shooter" are you referring to the 335 bow? Or the scope Jerry?

Micro 335 Questions

Only because I don't know? I was in a local sporting goods store today and they had the Micro 335 camo package on clearance. Looks to be the gen 2 riser with the Octane scope, one on display and three boxed $899 marked down to $649. Good package value deal?? Don't know all the current package deals ...

Re: What would you do?

I too would offer the bow to Boo for a charitable cause. A total of only six shots between two bows for the '18 season "checking POI and hunts" I deem myself not worthy, good luck to all...

Re: Ozonics

Let's not forget every time you touch something with your bare hands, game camera, climbing sticks, bow pull up rope, lifeline etc, your leaving human scent. The more the deer comes through your area which may be a frequent route and picks up on the scent your leaving the deer begin to pattern you a...

Re: " HUNTING "

For me I'm just thankful that I was given the opportunity to experience hunting at a young age. This year I was given permission from my neighbor who's land I exclusively hunt. To take another neighbor and his 11 year old son deer hunting, no shots were taken although I'm thinking he's hooked, welco...

Re: Ozonics

I use one on all my hunts for a good wind or a bad except in a steady rain. Not gonna say they are fool proof! They buy you time, it's a foreign smell one they may have not encounter before? Yes the ozone odor has spooked deer but the unit has presented me with opportunities that I believe the outco...
