Re: Good Friend

when i got laid off from work just four days after i bought my excalibur things didnt look very good.

that weekend a package arrived from ohio with a new varizone scope complete with rings from a forum member.

i am pretty sure it was the same member who helped out Ray D with the crankaroo.

Re: High winds and turkeys

when it is windy here they really avoid the fields unless you have one that is some what protected via the lay of the land........

then those field edges are dynamite and worthwhile to hunt..........

Re: Really good scope rings!!

when Mike P sent me the scope for my excalibur (out of the goodness of his heart) it came with Talley rings. i was not familiar with them so i looked them up. wow.... they cost as much as the scope.....

they are also solid steel and precision made and i recommend them as they are fantastic.........

Re: Over to the dark side

wisconsin gets all the ink with the age limits for crossbows and nobody ever mentions this arcahic rule being the same in my state of illinois. wisconsin traditional hunters are like the welcome wagon when compared to the compound and longbow guys here in IL. illinois will probably allow crossbows i...
