Re: O/T Temperature

Twenty degrees C in B.C. Lovely spring day. Perfect for metal detecting and picking up the dog poop from my three big dogs. Just heard they're ģoing to shut everything down for the long weekend, so if you need fuel or anything, get it now or tough luck til Tuesday.

Dammit, this sucks big time and pisses me off. Now that I understand your frustrations, You AIN'T "a dick" Darrell by any stretch of the imagination! And I will admit this whole episode has me a tad off the rails, and more antagonistic than I should be. Thanks for your kind words. They ar...

Napkins are all gone. Time for paper towels next. Trying to save Kleenex till last, if we can't find tp. Last resort , I'm eyeing the stack of cardboard boxes, but will have to soak them in water first. Lol Remember way back when cloth diapers would be washed after being filled, then emptied? Remem...

Well... they broke me. Literally. Kicked me off EI without making the switch to a Medical Benefits Claim. They did so stating I had "plenty of time to contact them and do so" and as a result of me not doing so I am not qualified. Complete BS. Not qualified for any of the other virus relat...

Re: Closing stupid things

I'm getting pretty frustrated too! Trying to get a couple of bottle jacks and bone meal in larger quantities is crazy. It seems there are a few companies that are not reordering much and are letting their stock dwindle. I'm pretty much ok for most things I need in life and I have lots to do on my h...

Re: o/t= this needs to end let it rip !!

The Nostradamus prophecies are so vague that they can be interpreted in a hundred different ways. They are couched in vauge generalities that make it almost impossible to pin down anything concrete. China isn't the only country that eats anything that swims, crawls, flies, or just lays there. With t...

The answer is simple in your scenario. Shoot whichever is losing and save the dominant buck some energy.

Re: O/T: Besides hunting and fishing, what types of hobbies??

I'm metal detecting all the empty parks and tot lots. Great fun and exercise. I'm up 60.00 bucks in coins so far. I'm in the process of getting permission to relic hunt our local first nation reserve land. That would be awesome as I know of one spot that is loaded with relics.

Re: A few still dont get it!

Our town put an end to hoarding. Limits on products in the grocery stores, and butcher shops have been imposed to prevent it. Went and did our bi-monthly grocery shopping and it was pleasant. Still a few shortages but no wheres near as bad as two weeks ago. Sad to say it's necessary, but here we are.

Re: If You Have To Cough

Masks will not help with the virus. The pathogen can pass freely through it. It's ment for particle protection, not viruses. It is useless as preventative. 99 % of docters agree. Its more a comfort thing than anything else. Good hygiene is the key. Besides, two elastic bands, a stapler, and some par...

Were you using a two-blade broadhead?

I’ve had that happen with two-blade heads, but never 3 or 4-blade heads.
That's what I was thinking also. Congrats on the meat doe.

Congrats. I've had my beast almost ten years now. She still shoots just as good as the day I bought it. When I start slowing down from age, I will get the barrel cut shorter to Ibex size. Have fun, shoot safe,

I did the same thing till I started gluing the fletch in hand. I wasn't going to waste a vane so I shot it to test accuracy. No difference at 50 yards and under. Soaking the jig arms in acetone is a great tip. I'll add that a stiff fibre brush helps to speed the cleaning process.
