Between the trigger latch and ADF latch. The old model would slip before the cord even got to the ADF.

Tried the new model stringer with the thick black cord (#2097) on the Axe today and it held without any slipping.

Did you lock it in the trigger or just far enough to get the string off?

As Boo said there is no need to crank the string until it engages the trigger, this is just wasted energy. use the charger with the stringing aid set just long enough to change/set the string length/brace height. you are making this way more complicated than it really is. I just got mine it it works fine except.... it would not retract all the way after cocking the bow. Left the hooks dangling. I will unhook it after and after I do the string I will use the rope cocker to let it back down. Never had the anti dri fire before so I seen a utube you push the handle in first and hold then use the rope aid and pull the trigger and let down as usual.

Can you use the charger ext with the stringer aid to change strings? I have always used the rope cocker with my other bows.
