Re: Matrix Picatinny Rail

Way cheaper to order 8" or 12" piece of picatinny rail blanck stock from Brownells. Cut it size you want and drill two holes in it to line up with two holes that hold stock quiver on. Then mount light or use a Streamlight laser/light combo which is what I have, works great on hogs at night...

Re: Stirrup Noise ?

I took mine off and used some cork gasket material - Hardware store plumbing dept. Punch two holes in it cut to fit between riser and stirup. Much quieter, no need to wrap it.

Re: Tact-Zone vs crossbones

Lots! Leupold will not let you down. It is lighter, way better glass so low light resolution is much better. Overall price difference between the two is under $100.00 and for what you are getting that's a heck of a lot of upgrade for $100.00. If your like many and forced to buy package all in then y...

Re: Two Men A Mule and still having trouble with bolts

Tip, take some acetone and remove logo from practice arrows. This makes it much easier to remove from block type targets. Logo material/ paint melts on contact when shot into block. It dries before you get there to pull out and bonds arrow to target, acetone fixes this.

Have a look at White River Air (North to Adventure is their website as well. They run an excellent outfit hunting in 21 a&b and 22. My group has been archery hunting moose with these guys for 30 yrs now. Freezer is always full of moose.

Re: Got my 380

Congrats on your new 380. Do yourself a favour and take some acetone on a rag and wipe the logo off of the arrows you will target shoot with. They will come out 200% easier and you'll never get your practice arrows mixed up with hunting ones. Unless of course your wanting to look like Arnold by summ...

Quality of glass goes bottom to top: rifleman, vx1, vx2' crossbones has vx2 glass, vxr, vx3, ......

If you can afford, CrossBones will be last scope you need for xbow.

Re: Fps range of the leupold crossbones scope ?

I will try and explain it best I can for you. Pending total arrow weight etc all arrows not the same. No scope with graduated crosshairs is going to work for every weight/speed combo. Therefore you must figure out which power on dial corresponds with speed of your arrow. Once you have that nailed do...

Re: Tac zone opinions

If you hunt close to home, no big deal. If you travel on big hunts there are better options. Several of my hunting group are on 100% fail rate! not good when on fly in hunt. I carry spare xcal fixed sites in case they need them. Mine wears Leupold.
