Re: Do you worry about leaving your recurve cocked for exten
Every time I put a new string on I leave bow cocked 2-3 weeks. Never had an issue.

My leather lined ones are 23 years old, little faded but the natural rubber is in fantastic shape. No wear on sole at all and they are like goi...

Re: VPA Broadheads
I've tried them up to 300grn, they planed too much for my liking out beyond 40 yards. Keep it close they should be fine, good solid head.

Re: New Bulldog with Hawke XB 30 Scope-Fitment ?
9/16 not going to solve issue on bull pup for most. Another 1.5" would rectify for majority and save trying to find low offset rings as there is little option in low. Weaver and Millet offer low 30mm offset and that is about it. There is 100+ AR style 1 piece offset options but they are all high.

Re: Who from Ontario think they're good at a slate call?
For years all I ever used was a slate or glass pot, called in a lot of birds with them. I found after loosing more strikers year after year that the diaphram was way to go. Now all I carry is two diaphragms.

If you are wanting something else to try - G5 Strikers have worked very well for me and fly great out to 100 yards out of my 380's and a 400BD

VPA will fly ok out to 20-30 yards then not so good beyond. I've tried the 3 blade 300 grn.
