Question regarding courtesies
Well....good things do come to good people who act well. Finally got invited to hunt my girlfriend's family farm. Last night at a birthday dinner for her mother, it was uttered- "Come over tomorrow morning and I will show you around the place." They have feeders, and after the rain we had ...

Seems to me that if it were an issue, it would be known here. Apparently it is not known here, so..... My Vortex is equipped with a nice system, but it was more to reduce vibrations than noise. Most set their STS nipples just off the string, but mine is a bit further away, and seems to be best there...

I assume you have already read about the Hawke scopes. I have the SR version mounted on my Vortex, and it works great. The little circles match up perfectly for me. My guess is that your Phoenix, sighted in for 20 yards/top reticle, will have your arrows hitting about three to four inches low at 50 ...

The only thing that needs to be nervous - is the buck that's gonna walk below you. Nice vantage point there, looks good. The more you sit in it, the more relaxed you will become. The movement of the trees still gets to me, and I imagine the tree falling over, and squirrels attacking, and termites ea...

The investigators withold alot of information. Have to in order to be certain they have the correct offender. Over the many years I have always been fascinated with what gets put out and what gets held back. I used to be very suprised when I would hear the TV's explaination vs. what I saw. No one wa...

My will power failed me. From the tone of your post, I suspect that they will end up passing you around just like they did me. Yes sir, I made it a little too easy for them. Rage against the impulse. My bow would have been just fine. It didn't need any of those things, and your's doesn't eit...

Interesting modifications you have experimented with there. I see you have played around with vibration dampeners mounted underneath. Has anything made a noticable improvement in amount of vibration felt ? I tried some things with my bow and.....vibrations seemed to have been lessened, but not as mu...

Chicken pox virus is the cause. Once you have had chicken pox, the virus lies dormant in your nervous system for the rest of your life. Weakened immune systems, getting tired, or even having a lot of anxiety or stress can cause them to reappear. The Dr. can prescribe an anti-viral medicine, but....y...

Once you have your brace height set properly, you can expect it to change. If you keep the string just off the bumpers, you can use that distance as a guage to notice when the brace height has changed on you. If it changes, your point of impact will also likely change. Requires string twist, which i...

Farmers and their weeds.............guess I'd be after them too. Deer are seasonal breeders, and as such, something has to reliably trigger them to cycle, or they become off-season and miss out on all the fun. Most animals will cycle using the most reliable timer there is- the Sun. Actually, the wob...

I'm going for the big tackle reduction program this year. Used to carry everything around, and almost never used but a few things. Bow with rope and extra Crazy Farmer arrow, knife, flash light, scents, bottle of water, camo, boots, cell phone, wallet, sun glasses and hat, and a He-Wee - and everyth...

One of the scientists the global warmers always quoted and held up to prove their position, has said some things. Funny.....you haven't heard what he said. That's right, we are actually in a cooling phase and have been the last ten years with temperatures not rising. The fancy weather scientists are...
