For those who know him, Dave (papabear1) is going in for open heart surgery today. Dave's in his 80's. His heart is so bad they are having a cardiologist standing by during the procedure. I have an old sleeping bag that once i am
in my stand i step into it and pull it up to my waist
and sit down,not only keeps my feet warm but,

Yes it would raise the height at which you need to get the handles up rope cocking whatever distance you extend it by. But he really only needs to extend the stirrup 1.5". His Micro is pretty short, that 1.5" will mean very little in rope cocking.

I may be wrong but,
i think that will also change your distsnce to cock your bow,
might want to take that into concideration....
