I sold my brand new Tact-Zone scope on ebay and it paid for my used Leupold scope.

Leupold without a doubt. No illumination required. Leupold's low light clarity is superior during those last few minutes of the legal hunting day.

I've heard medium rings are needed for the Nikon bolt XR scope. Everyone else put you on the right path.

What was the mishap with your Tact-Zone scope? The reason I ask is the MSRP difference between the Tact-Zone and Twilight DLX is only $80.

I am sure you are adjusting the scope correctly. I doubt swapping the rings will do anything also moving the scope fore and aft is for eye relief and wouldn't change elevation. Curious what model Excalibur crossbow and arrows are you using? Also, what manufacture and height rings are you using? The ...

Use your old scope if you have one as a trade in for the Leupold from Danny Miller. Then you will only pay a smaller difference.
