Re: Should I use Rail Lube / Wax?
I'm not sure what Jigaloo is, but I will look into it. I don't know if the wax affects my accuracy, but it's messy, even when shooting the bow. It's a hassle, for me anyway. jigaloo is a spray lubricant and available at auto parts stores.bright orange can. there is no odor after it dries.spray on r...

Re: Should I use Rail Lube / Wax?
I have been using the excalibur wax on my string and X Rail Lube on my phoenix (rail lube every three shots), as that is what the dealer reccomended to me. I notice that the insturctional video that came with the crossbow said to only use the wax on the string and let it work into the rail. Is this...

Re: I can hear!
Hi all, After being almost totally deaf for twelve years, I finally got fitted with special hearing aids today. I never realized how much I was missing. The first time I heard birds singing I broke down with several tears flowing. I'd forgotten how beautiful the world sounds. My wifes voice sounds ...

Re: To wax or not to wax?
[quote="toytruck"]I called Danny Miller today to place an order and asked about the Dalton wax vs Excalibur wax. He doesn't recommend using any wax  said you will go through a couple strings, but in the long run your gonna have a slick rail that won't require any wax. His theory is ...

Re: apinions on rage crimson talon crocs an muzzys
i shoot a vortex and a tenpoint. of the three you list i can only give opinion on the rage 2 blade. a little pricey but i have gotten more than one deer several times with the same head without having to replace the blades, so with that in mind the price is not as bad as it seems at first. another t...

Re: Deerhide brown phoenix/vortex?
i bought a vortex this past summer and wanted a black color because all my hunting is done from ground blinds, but there was no color options, so after season is over i am sending mine back to the dealer to have it "dipped" in order to get the color that i desire....jeff

Re: 3d target bolt removal
spray jig-a-loo on the first 3-4" of arrow and/or using a rubber arrow puller that gives you "gription" on the shaft, either works well for me.....jeff

Re: Anyone use a red dot?
a red dot is alot easier to see and no confusion as with multi line/dot scopes , and i have tried several brands/types of scopes(hawke, excal, parker). my vortex shoots any distance from 10-30 yards and holes can be covered with a tennis or baseball ball without any hold over. im sighted dead on at 24...
