Re: NAP Crossbow Spitfire Opinions.
Even though the N.A.P. rep said to me he don't advise the use of bands, i agree with you that do, a little added security can't hurt? And i don't see it affecting the flight of the arrow..

Re: Sharpening Devices

So i can move on to other interests, i also have diamond D.M.T. stones of varies grits, along with a few stropping leathers and compounds to maintai...

Re: NAP Crossbow Spitfire Opinions.
I shot the old Spitfire back in my long bow and compound day's, always flew close to my field point's and can't remember ever having any issues. I can't even count the many different broad head's i have tried, the newest and latest, one after another. And for me i have found that i have made a circl...

Re: Old NAP Spitfire weight inconsistancies
I shot N.A.P. Spit fires years ago, in my old longbow, and compound bow day's. And love em, yes there always seemed to be a 3-4 grain variance in their weight, but it never made a noticeable difference in impact out to 30 yards. And turn the page to today with my crossbow, lo and behold... After shoo...

Re: Swhacker broadheads
I've used them.. And they shoot well, but with my Ibex out of four deer shot only one was a pass thru..Now i recovered all deer under 50 yards but i wasn't completely satisfied with them. I'm fairly sure that with a faster crossbow pass thru's would not be an issue. But when i moved up to the 355 ma...

Re: Possible New Convert
There is plenty of other crossbows out there....Faster, less draw weight, space age looking and cheaper...All make it tempting for the first time crossbow buyer. And i have seen a lot of them shoot, so why do i have and prefer Excalibur? Reliability, Accuracy, Simplicity, Tougher than a box of nail'...

Re: New Member W/ Basic Questions
Wax & lube, Some use.. some don't. I myself use very little on my serving only. At least the wax that is, lube for the rail? for me never. Just keep it clean and smooth. I'm sure others will chime in with their preference, but you have made a great start with an Excalibur bow. And welcome to the...
