Re: Ingredients to Your Micro Arrow Soup

Being new to this "addiction", this is not my recipe, but what Danny Miller came up with. 20" Black Eagle Executioners cut down to 15 1/2", 110gr brass insert, 100gr point. I don't know off hand what the wt. of the plastic nock is. I think the BE web site lists 8gr. Vanes are 6gr...

Re: Global Warming

Sew, the first thing I thought of when I saw your pics, what a great shooting platform you have. I do hate it for you folks that don't like winter weather. Ya'll been getting' hammered this season. Even north MS getting' it again. Gonna be down to 29 here in S. MS tonight. And windy, I don't like th...

New bow & other goodies

My new Micro & accoutrements arrived yesterday. They were delayed by the weather up north. The bow is camo, w/8 BEEs & 100gr field pts. I ordered 4 Executioners & Danny changed out the 4 Quills so all would match. This guy will take care of you & steer in the right direction. 3 100gr...

Dadgum weather

My bow was scheduled to be here yesterday. Due to ice & snow up north, it won't be here 'til Monday. My weekend is ruined. I,m still hitting' the ups track feature every hour or so, hoping a miracle will happen. Weekend is not really ruined, I'm meeting my son at the camp this afternoon to help ...

Re: Dan Miller price list as of Feb-2015

When I placed my order Mon. his price on the Micro was $869. That price is to your front door. That's package not bare. Mine has made it's way to Hodgkins, IL. It should be headin' South from there.

Pulled the trigger (figuratively)

Called Mr. Miller this A.M. & ordered the bow. (wish he was close enough to meet in person). The bow & some other goodies will be on the way tomorrow. I decided on the Micro 335. Got the cranking aid too. I feel real confident about dealing with him. Now I get to pace around & wear the c...

Re: Selecting a bow

I am thinking about the crank no matter which model. Hard to take my eyes off the Micro. It got warm enough here today that I was able dig 20 holes transplanting hydrangeas. I think staying active staves off the deterioration. Figure if I get the crank it will extend the shooting time I have left. W...

Selecting a bow

As some of you know in my previous post I had called Danny Miller about the new Micro 335. Well I called him again today to seek more advice & buy the bow. We discussed my age (will be 69 in June) & the struggle I had trying to cock my son's 405. Also mentioned I want to shoot the bow a lot....

New to crossbows

Just signed up on the forum. I'm new to x-bows and don't have one yet, but I'm already hooked. My oldest son got a Matrix 405 before our deer season, but I think it's too much bow for me. I talked to Mr. Miller this A.M. about the new micro. I'm about to pull the trigger. Been checking forums for aw...
