Here's a photo of a stock I made out of black walnut. It's not as cool-looking as some of the stocks posted on this site, but it has a few unique features that some may find interesting:

Sorry to rain on your parade, but we can buy that bow in the States at Bass Pro Shops for $240. I was thinking of buying one myself when my shoulder heals up.

Those are nicely done. I've tried the boiling and maturation (sp?) techniques, but could never get all the "snot" out of the nasal cavities. I won't claim this is as nice, but I've done a "modified european" mount that looks pretty good and is a lot easier to do. Just cut the top...

What's the best rest for crossbow in treestand?

I find these crossbows to be awfully awkward in a treestand. Do any of you use a bow or rifle rest/holder device that works well? Right now I just hold on to it all day, but several times I've nearly dropped it. I hunt in a standard rifle-type stand (with the bar that wraps around the seat).

anyone use 125 gr slick tricks?

Does anyone here use the 125 gr slick tricks? I'm thinking of converting from aluminum bolts to carbon, and rather than add brass weights I thought I'd go for a heavier broadhead and get something for the weight. The 125 gr. has a 1/8" larger cutting diameter, versus the 100 grain. My only conc...
