Another Swamp Yote
Now everyday is a different adventure. Today I get out at first light and the wind is blowing hard from the South West and I am limited as to what properties I can work. I head to one of the new places that I have already taken 2 yotes on and setup up along a thick woods along the swamp I have been ...

Double Day
It was a wet morning with a slight rain and a wind blowing right for the setup. Back at one of the new properties I parked as it was just light but can not see any distance. I grab the stuff and head to the feild edge and work my way down the edge to place in the field behind a large cattle barn. I ...

New Property and New Success
Spent yesterday afternoon farther driving around the side roads asking permission as I could see different sets right from the road side. Worked great as I picked up a few new places and made arrangements with a landowner to be there at first light (This Morning). I got there and worked my way to th...

I hit a Gold Mine !
Setup at first light in this new area on a field. The wind is not great as it from the North West and blowing enough to cause small driffs on the road. I started calling with the DST Cottontail and worked with all the calls like the DST Jack rabbit and ended with a female howl. The set was not good ...

Same place 2nd day no# 3
I got up at first light and headed back to the same place this morning and when I got there I spotted another yote in the same feild as I got one yesterday. Tried to do a sneek around behind the barn but when I rounded the barn the wind was so bad and cold that my eyes watered so bad I could not see...

Re: Not crossbow hunting but its hunting !
What brand of caller are you using? I am currently researching them and want a reliable one that has good battery life and will work at least 100 yds away from my stand. I use the FoxPro Fury and hand calls. Always have hand calls with you and ready as at times you dont have time to get the fox pro...
