As I learn and relearn it seems string wants to be taken off and turned as it wears. Keep things even.A string changer required in time to change a string.Why not as Boo mentioned be able to maintain proper brace height? Besides the re curve advantage of in the field string replacement or adjustment...

With new single wire alternators ,hooking one up to a variety of engines possible. Even mounting on a mower and driving it with its engine.
