Re: Scent free laundry detergent
So if I interpret charts right, deer are seeing enhanced colors at a range we struggle with and increase by use of u.v. brighteners in an attempt to see. Good case against hunting cloths washed with brighteners, beyond yet proving some non u.v. wash manufacturers claims.Still like my baking soda but ...

U.v. and deer vision.Interesting. Our vision peters out just past violet. I don,t know what those/that next color(s) looks like, I guess so we should use it in military applications, that and a morel mushroom pattern! Green supposed to be near invisible to deer as past violet is to us but there all w...

U.V. brightners not good for hunting. One old study ,accuracy must be considered, showed a glow to fabric in a deers view.Probably by company that sold/sells u.v. free products.Denim a screaming neon to game though l.o.l.. I smell like dogs.So far except lack of deer to see this year its been fine. L...

Spine factoring?
Resistance of broadhead with longer bolt has bolt doing the hula? 4 inches off length should change what was result at longer length, (for good or bad),would greater diameter or instead, wall thickness, have same effect as heavier field tip with longer shaft?

Re: traveling with xbow
Excalibur recommends using a hard side double gun case. In the instructional videos in the support section of this forum is a video about traveling, showing how easy it is to disassemble and store two pieces. Emphasis on the two don,t touch to avoid contact damage. The great part is ,though target te...

Handsome specimen!
Don,t seem to be in a fightin mood. More pics could tell my imagination if that left rear leg is being favored, maybe.
I ordered that 18-1 Rinehart. Thanks, looks like it will do quite nicely.

Re: Getting an ADF
Cocked, Locked and ready to Rock ... once i release the safety. The safety on the Excalibur's are no where as loud as on my Rem 700, and I can even ease the Rem safety off slow enough to hardy make a sound if any. It's that moment of truth just before your ready to take a shot that excites one to t...

Re: Getting an ADF
Ha! a certain rifle manufacturer did make a mouse trap safety that nearly killed deer by concussion when throwing it off. I learned to by holding it between thumb and fore finger ride it down quietly. :x You,ll feel more comfortable with ADF in use, that can,t be bad. I would need the bolt that is to...
