Re: New fusion Vanes

I am thinking the thicker section of the vein is so you have more to see from the rear as you shoot it , it is a fiber optic vein the thicker sections act as a lite pipe.

Re: What broadhead do you use ?

Equinox/ Firebolts with aluminum insert / 175 gr slick trick for deer. I went with this head because I wanted the high F.O.C it offers it is a 4 blade and is a larger cut than the bolt cutters. This is a very tuff head that can deal with bone and flies the same as my field tips. I killed 2 bucks wit...

Re: Thumbhole vs Traditional stock

I prefer the thumb hole stock , when hunting I always have a grip on the well grip for hours on end and the angel of the thumb hole is more natural to me their for more comfortable.
The safety is no problem their is plenty of time to take it off this is not woodcock hunting.

Re: Crank cocking device Excalibur Crossbow

I have a crank and love it the anti reverse can be turned off for silent operation but you run the risk of hurting your self if you slip and let go .
My 12 year old daughter can cock my 225 pound bow no problem with the crank.
It is easy to use once you do it a few times.

Re: Back again few more questions

Remember me I have the new 275 lb pull Ibex. I still would like to quiet this thing down. I chronied my arrows this past weekend. In Ct we have to have at least a 450 grain bolt. So I cannot shoot what Excalibur reccomends for the 305 feet per second speed. I am shooting an Easton XX75 2216 20"...

Re: Quieting the bow

I like the idea of the rubber on the sturrup how did you do it. quote="bkisel"]I’m anxiously awaiting the availability of Excalibur’s “STS” like product. Isn’t an “STS” a something you can put on a crossbow that can quiet it down without any loss of speed? Also, here are my xbow LimbSavers...
