Easton needs to make stronger arrows!!
http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q32/mjs_015/ALUMINIUMXX78ROBINHOOD007.jpg This superslam aluminum arrow was robin hooded as you can see, and split in this fan shape. The arrow was shot from my collegue's vortex. It was the same bow that bent the carbon arrow on my storage shack! I sent the pictu...

Re: Unbending carbon arrow myth
To answer a question posed above I should have mentioned that this was a goldtip lazer II carbon arrow.

Unbending carbon arrow myth
http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q32/mjs_015/bentcarbonpics004.jpg Carbon arrows are supposed to be either straight or broken. Here's one that is clearly bent. Close examination revealed no splinters or cracks etc. This was shot from a vortex and bounced off a wooden building. Boo has mentioned h...

Re: Making your own arrows
I like the 2216 XX78 superslam aluminum arrow shafts by Easton. I use the 2" blazers. There is also a 2216 flat ended luminok that fits these arrows beautifully if you so desire, and care to use lighted nocks. I also have found the latest version of gorilla super glue to be excellent. This is t...

Re: Ontario Native Woman wins U.S. archery title
Hey Don: So far I haven't heard if she will receive any public recognition from her band. I am sure the local media will do a story, but it's early days yet and so maybe I could put in a good word for her to some of the band members I know to have her recognized. As for myself I am just a friend of ...

Re: 150 GRAIN MECHANICALS ?
Hey J: I found a reference to the rage crossbow mechanical broadhead on page 52 of the June issue of Deer & Deer hunting. There is no reference to wt in that description. So you are probably right that it is a 125 grain head. I could have sworn that I saw 150 grains somwhere in the caption. So I...

For your and others information I believe there is now a 150 grain 2 blade rage mechanical broadhead. I saw it in

Re: Fletching removal tool
I like the Zip strip by Norway industries. It is expensive but so is most archery equipment. But I think it will last me
life time. Is there not a danger that the box cutter blades will shear off too much carbon?
