Re: Bells and whistles
Hey guys I looked at that scope at the Harrisburg show and almost pulled the trigger. My question will this scope work on my Micro 335 being it's a bit smaller in frame size. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: what do you do with your harvest
I donate a few deer a year to the Hunters Feeding the Hungry. It's goes to the local food bank. Then the ones I do keep I make into chip steaks, ground meat and stew meat. I also make Jerky with some of it too. One of the guys in my group makes all kind of sausage both hot and mild. I would say the ...

Re: Rubber boots
The rubber boots I have been wearing for years and I love them is Dicks Sporting goods brand. I wear the 1000 grams both early Archery and then into late winner. One thing I like about them is Dicks has a good warranty for them. I had a pair get a crack in them and they replaced them with know probl...

Re: Fixed Blade vs Mechanical Broad Heads
I believe that what you shoot and you are confidence in that broadhead is the one to go with. The market today is flooded with all good broadheads be mechanical or fixed. Over the years I switched over to mechanical and still use them today. One they are safer like Longbow Joe said . Also they fly r...

Ladder stands are good choice these days there are a lot to pic from. One of my hunting buddies has a bunch of the Dicks's one's like LongbowJoe mentioned. They work great and for under $50. Bucks you can not go wrong. Now we have as few of them on some of the properties I hunt. What we have done is...

Re: excalibur scopes
I have owned two excals and both have the factory scopes. I have shot a lot of Deer and a Bear with them. 95% of my shots have been below 40 yards. I have had no problems with them. But I did pick up a Excal with a leupold and you definitely can see the difference. I now shoot a Micro 335 and I woul...

Re: Deer Drives
The group of guys that I hunt with we do Deer drives the last few weeks of the season. We do it all with Archery gear. The pushers push very slow and when the deer get to us they are walking 80% of the time and we are in trees. There has been occasion when we have guys on the ground and this also wo...
