Re: Shot placement question

Are the boltcutters enough to do adequate damage? Or is it worth buying the X-Act? or another manufacturer???
Just curious, I may give it a shot one Sunday

Re: Benelli M2 20gau. w/rifled barrel

@ masboy - unfortunately in Canada I don't believe i'll have that large of a selection for sabots in 20 gau. up here. What is the accurate range of your 12gau M1 smooth bore? 60-80-100 yards with 3" groupings? open sight or scope?
let me know

Benelli M2 20gau. w/rifled barrel

Hey guys, I'm contemplating buying the above for deer season. Has anyone ever tried using this successfully, open sights or scope, and what ammo were you using? As well how much would it cost for a smooth bore? (approx.)
Any info. will be appreciated :)

Post AM or PM ?

Morning guys, with the season nearly closing for x-bow (deer)...I was just wondering this season if the dawn or dusk posts were more successfully. Pre-rut I've spotted more deer in the am...after the rut i've spotted more in the pm, hopefully I can fill my tag in the next few days :? Any thoughts......

Re: Best Turkey Broadhead

Since were on the topic, for the Equinox they recommend 150gr head....for the life of me I can't seem to find any broadheads in 150 geared for turkey use as all are either 100 or 125...how much will it affect the trajectory? I was told the gullotine is deadly as well but you need a longer arrow

H&R -Excell Auto Combo 12gau semi. (rifled)

Hey guys, I realize this isn't the right forum for the above subject. But has anyone either used/owned/fired/heard any good or bad reviews regarding the above shotgun, I'm looking into buying a dedicated slug gun for deer season

Thanks

Re: Best broadhead for Turkey hunting?

k...newbie here so be gentle, so when using a crossbow you should be aiming at the head rather then the largest part of the body to drop the bird (breast)?
And from what I've read so far, the gullotine seems to be the preferred broadhead....any others?

Newbie to hunting looking on opinions/advice

Morning boys, I recently converted from a diehard river angler (hence the name) and finally got into the world of hunting and can't seem to get enough of it. My question is I was looking into purchasing a crossbow to expand my deer hunting opportunities (Oct) as i'm from Toronto and was wondering wo...
