Re: Charger crank
If it won’t release when it is fully cranked I found if you push the crank handle forward a little you can then hit the button to release it. I hope that makes sense I had mine lock up and wasn’t able to get it released I searched the internet for help and ended up finding one of Excalibur’s instruc...

Re: Bulldog 440
I’ve got quite a few shots through my 440 so far and have only put about 12-15 shots with lumenocks through it and so far no problems.

Re: broadheads
I use to shoot NAP Razorback never lost a deer with them and they never went over 50 yards. I don’t believe they make them anymore and a buddy has told me NAPs quality has gone down so never really looked at them. I tried a couple of mechanical broadheads when I got the 405 a couple of years ago and...

Re: FYI: pulling inserts from PROFLIGHT factory arrows

Re: FYI: pulling inserts from PROFLIGHT factory arrows
Thanks for the info I got 4 of the Proflight’s with the 440 and didn’t care for them I want to add brass inserts, so your saying the aluminum insert that’s in them now are 1 1/2 inch inserts ? I also didn’t like how they set the vanes further back what’s everyone’s input on that. I know the zombies ...

Re: Max range would you say is far enough?
IMHO I think the max range would be what your comfortable and confident with. I personally set my stands up in the Woods with 30 yard max shots, when I’m hunting cornfields or the bean fields and a monster walks around 40-50 yards in the open fields I’m gonna take that shot. I have confidence in my ...

Re: Where do you buy your Crossbow accesories ?
I use Woodys Sporting Goods in PA and Bowhunters Superstore in PA. I’ve also have used a couple of the ones listed above, Never had a bad experience with any of them. I usually just order my arrows directly from Black Eagle and if I’m in a bind and need something quick I’ll drive up to Columbus and ...

Re: New back up bow
Well I’ve got about 100 bolts through the 440 this thing is nice the foot stir-up has a rubber coating which is nice, the arrow retainer is also rubber coated I didn’t care for this at first but have grown to like it definitely keeps the bolt held in place. It didn’t take long to sight this bow in th...

I agree X out the sides and since your not going to enclose it right away I’d waterproof the floor area. Other than that looks great.

Re: “Thoughts on Sunday Hunting”
Ohio has Sunday hunting when I was working a lot of hours Sunday’s were sometimes the only day I could get out. Not only that with the kids in school and sports, Sunday’s were perfect for getting the kids in the Woods to hunt.

Re: Matrix 380 Hardcase??
I use the Plano Bowmax for my 405 great case but bulky can put it in the cab of truck or if I’m hunting at one of my close to home spots put it in the bed of the truck I’m on my 4th or 5th season with it and its holding up well.

Re: New Excalibur
Jumped onto Excals Facebook and saw they are releasing August 1st anyone have any info on this. I’m looking at the new 440 and 360 TD next week and am wondering if I should hold off.
Will it be hitting the stores soon or if it’s going to released in 2020.
