i use the 2219's, blazer or fusion vanes both work great, easton nocks and .304 70gr heavy horton inserts, 125gr tips at around 520gr total weight. heavy i know but they blow thru deer even on off hits (shoulder, spine ect) and still bury well into the dirt. won't be changing any time soon, plus eve...

take a drill bit about the same diameter, drill just deep enough to pop off the heads, take drill bit out of drill use back side to pop off heads, then use vise grips to unscrew. and don't use loctite when u replace.

have no problem with the shadowzone , one can hunt well past legal hours if one was inclined to with more than enough clarity. just my two cents

i have the shadowzone on my vortex, does everything i ask of it, more than clear enough plus the lighted reticle does what it is supposed to, buy a little more time early morning late evening, thanks excal for not breaking the bank doing it. spent the extra 150 on much needed archery supplies.

nice hunting, i have the itch but must wait till 10/1. great news for my NY hunting licence went from $290 to $140 but only 4 deer instead of five.
