First off, welcome! Glad to see another Minnesotan on here. As far as unstringing... It wouldn't be a bad idea to pull it off if the bow is going to be sitting for nine months.. Would also recommend checking and oiling all your nuts and bolts to prevent surface rust. EDIT: Others may need to correct...

My initial thought as well...
Aside from t-loins, backstrap is one of the best cuts.

Another year come and gone... May the next always be better than the last.

Throw a couple pieces in the crock-pot with some potatoes, carrot, and onion... Season as desired.

I used the grip on mine for a short while, but in my opinion it is mounted too far forward (just a personal thing)... The only valid complaint I have with the supplied grip, is that it does not lock solid when folded down. There is about a 1/4" of play in mine, which makes it feel like a cheap ...

Don't want to leach onto the thread... but, I do have to add a +1 for Norm.

If he's bringing it in Feb, I'm definitely going to find a way to make it down there.

Just a rope... Though next year I might pick up a cheap plastic sled from walmart.
