Re: Gen 2 Micro down

Gen 2 Micro down

The other day, I preformed my end of season inspection and maintenance on my 2017 Micro 335... After taking the string off, I noticed small chips of flaking finish near the tips of both limbs... Rubber grips Micro

I have noticed over time the rubber grip pads on my micro have developed some scaring... Not cuts into the rubber but light colored scuff,,, Not a problem, but I have noticed the issue.

Micro String change

I just ordered a Flemish string for my new Micro... I have read, even with the stringing aid it can be a little fussy to swap... Any tips?

Re: Micro suppressor vs micro 355 vs 335

One other note... The suppressor with all its added sound gizmos actual slows the bow down a bit... Excalibur markets it around 343fps... Congratulations on the new bow.

Re: Sound suppression

Well said. I've taken deer out to forty yards and haven't had one jump the string. Which is a misnomer because deer have to bunch up before they can jump. So if you're worried, aim a bit lower. Quicker blood trails and faster bleeding out. Besides, being deaf, my beast sounds kinda quiet to me. :wi...

Re: Jus can't Help Myself !

Sounds great... I have found great delight in hunting on grounds of large acreage with no other hunters permitted... Over time, I have found it can take many seasons to workout all the options one has with large hunting grounds... Its a privilege that is unfortunately becoming less and less for many...
