Re: Value of a used equinox crossbow?
If it's the full camo rail in like new condition with maybe a Shadow Zone scope... that wouldn't be too far off.

Re: Broadhead Analysis
Those are some really nice points AJ… the ancient people of the Carolinas were no where near as artistic with their knapping. I do find an occasional corner notched point… there just wasn’t a lot of pretty material to work with.

Re: Broadhead Analysis
Everyone who hunts with archery gear has to pick a broadhead… I like Muzzy… Rocket… and Swhacker. In my case the body of the Swhacker did not bend and trap the blades… they still move freely back in and out. Think about this… what deploys the main blades on broadheads like the Swhacker and Muzzy Sha...

I tried to have him scored AJ... but I was disqualified for wearing camo that didn't match during the harvest. Who knew... :eusa-think: :wtf: I wasn't going to say any...

Re: Broadhead Analysis
I've shot a bunch of critters with these broadheads. The black "nose cone" is hardened steel. The barrel that holds the blades is aircraft grade aluminum. Question? Was the head "stuck" in the bone, or did you simply pull the arrow out thru the entrance whole? The wing blade (on...

My biggest buck was the second deer I ever killed… shot him dead in the butt… 2213 arrow with a 90 grain four blade Muzzy was sticking two inches out of his rear hip… cut the femoral… a blind man could have found him.

Re: Broadhead Analysis
I shot a big buck one time it the chest years back with a compound and xx75 2216 after exiting it was bent in a total horseshoe ....never figured that one out but have the buck mounted ...forgot what became of that arrow. I guess my point is "chit happens " it's all very interesting. :lol...
