Re: OK, I Missed But Why
You miss when you fail to follow through the shot. This would include peeking, punching, jerking, or any other odd shooting flaw people can exhibit when experiencing any sort of target panic associated with shooting or buck fever. Possible unseen limbs or obstructions in the flight path are my best ...

Re: Lets hear some good about micro
My limbs haven't broke, but the scope was junk, and replaced under warranty, trigger claws were junk, and still tear up strings after Woody's tried to fix it under warranty. I would hate it if it wasn't such a killing machine. I missed the first week of bow season due to the poor craftsmanship. I ne...

Re: Arrow tuning?
How do you get a helical to fit in the cock vane groove of the flight rail? Do you just let it rub? I have alot of offset on my quills and the cock vane is nearly rubbing the sides. I would imagine that helical would definitely rub the sides. I've had great luck so far with stock quills and the offs...

Re: Arrow tuning?
I'm not having any issues now. Any discrepancies in Broadhead flight I have now is directly related to arrow wobble from the BH I have used on 2 deer so far, or a funny insert. This makes sense to me and is easily corrected. It makes sense to me that the stiffest arrow possible is the best, and the ...

Arrow tuning?
School Me... Is there a way to tune crossbow arrows foe the spine of the arrow like a v bow? I'm used to being able to get my broadheads to fly with my field points by adjusting arrow length and point weight etc... Is there any rype of that tuning with a crossbow or do we just get the stiffest arra ...

Re: broadheads that will group with field points?
I use boltcutters on my quill arrows. They fly exactly like my Field points.
For a sure thing though, you'll want to get expandables.
Be sure to spin check your heads. That will ALWAYS affect flight.

Brian

Cocking aid hook wear
Anyone notice that their hooks on the cocking aid are getting grooves from where they rub against the first screw on the ADF?
On my Micro the hooks have to pass over the first screw to get the string into the latch.
If I get ambitious I'll take and post a pic.

Re: School me on Bolts
The stock quills shoot awesome for me. Since I was new to xbows also, I decided to stick with all excal stuff. I have had no issue with the equipment. It is well matched and extremely accurate.

Great buck! Congrats!

Re: Prejudices Against Crossbows
Gotta admit I'm on the fence a bit. It took me alot of time and hard work to get proficient at shooting and working on my V bows. Emphasis on the work. The insane amount of constant fooling around with the new fast bows to keep them timed and shooting fixed heads accurately finally go the best of me...

Quill Fletching
Anyone know what brand/style fletching the quill arrows have? I refletched 2 of em with blazers and it changed poi from the others. About 1". The last deer I killed couldn't tell the difference... I matched the offset with my bitz jig. If I get some time I might upload a pic of the adapter I ma...
