Re: OT/ I lost a friend
The love of a dog for its owner is almost unequaled: maybe only matched in reverse. Reminds me of the highest love : 1 John 4:19.

Re: I feel guilty
I agree with the others: you did what was right. In his eyes, you helped him and you helped yourself. It wasn't a loose/win with the transaction; rather, it was a win-win. Unfortunately, prior to all that, it was a loose. Likely most of have been in his shoes at sometime. Let me tell you about my ai...

Re: 2.5 Pound TriggerTech Hunting Trigger
I have a 2.5# DS TT on both xbows(380/405). Very nice. My understanding is that the triggers coming out of Excalibur, ESP the M405, are improved over previously offered Excals.

Re: Micro with leupold
Yes, that's funny. I like the Bolt's size but don't quite understand the last distance setting. I agree that's it's relatively bright and very nicely sized.racking up points wrote:If you go with a 3-9x40mm Leupold on a Micro, make sure it fits within the stirrup!

Re: Hello
that little voice in my head told me it was no accident but rather part of a Canadian Conspiracy to take over the entire North American economy by first cornering the crossbow market. welcome back norm If they haven't accomplished the first takeover, it's only because of the same reason the ...

Re: Micro with leupold
Thoughts: 1) if the primary purpose is hunting, and absolute max range is not >60 yds, them a quality crossbow dedicated scope(I'd want Leupold) is likely the best choice. 2) if >60 yds is a serious consideration, then Optimizer/quality scope(VXR seems to be most for the money) is a better way to go...

Re: "Dental Bands"
Big John constructed 18" Zombies, AL inserts, plastic moon nocks, helical Blazers,FOCs have proved extremely accurate in both my 380 & 405. Will test between flat and moon nocks on next set. In theory, the more uniform the back of a projectile(in particular a bullet) the more accurate it is...
