Here is my idea for what it's worth... Bowhunting has been and always will be a 30 yard and in game. Build a 175lb bow with a straight non-thumbhole stock, add in some of the new advancements that are better (Nocks, Arrows, Limb Tips, Dampeners...etc.) give it an old school camo look (Mossy Oak Bott...

I don't miss the old wide bows either... I have four of them that I shoot almost every day. Sometimes I just pick them up and hold them lovingly!!

Just a side note... the 125 grain three blade Muzzy’s are flying like darts out to 30 yards. I think this will be my opening day set up for August 15th. I need to get a salt lick and some corn out... that will be here in hot minute!!
