Re: Dental Bands?
I agree with you 100% Tomcat, I believe they are probably fine if brand new and undesturbed. I myself must shoot each head at a target before using on any game so either it is change blades and clips each time or use bands.

Re: Questions for any hunter here in NC
I’m a little closer to NC being in N. Ga. and I can tell you that there has been no activity yet and the only pics I’m getting right now are at night because of the temps. Generally in this area things will pick up around Halloween (small bucks trolling) and then really kick in 2nd week of November.

Re: OT - not getting email notifications of PMs
Seems like the new forum format may have changed my settings? I had notifications & email checked for PMs, but I have not been getting any email notifications when members PM me???? Anyone else having this problem? I un-checked the notifications box and made sure the email box was checked after...

Re: VISITING THIS FORUM LESS AND LESS
Paul I’ve been following the forum for several years and decided to start participating a few months ago and I must say that for what it’s worth I agree with you that the old version was much easier to follow and more enjoyable all around but it still amazes me at the number of big hearted people wi...

Re: Anyone out this morning?
70 this morning with 80% humidity and temps will reach mid 80s this afternoon but I will sit this evening because I am going to be affected by another tropical system tomorrow and maybe deer will feed to beat the storm.
Good luck everyone.
Good luck everyone.

Re: South Shore Archery Zombie Slayers
For the guys shooting 3 blade fixed broadheads...do you see a need to “tune” the blades to the fletching? I’ve been told that it’s not necessary... I normally line my Montecs up with the fletching just because I'm anal that way but I have shot them misaligned and saw no difference in point of impac...

Re: Spitfire Broadhead Question
You all are being misled because the retention clips are not any different in either the regular or the crossbow branded broadheads that NAP produces. It's one of those marketing ploys that gives consumers a warm & fuzzy feeling! Just like the guaranteed for life does, gives the consumer a sens...

Not only will they shave your arm but will cut a slightly stretched rubber band with just their own weight.

Re: Favorite broadheads?
Here is how the old style stainless Montecs look when I finish with them Keith. I wear Kevlar glove when I get to the final two sharpening stages.
