Cooking time varies just remember if you cook it too long it will dry out.I set my oven at 375 and I like mine just a little pink in the middle.I also put mine on the top rack in the oven.

Since alot of you are killing deer heres a simple meal and its very tasty.Marinade a deer roast or back straps in wishbone Italian dressing over night.WRAP it with strips of bacon, seal it with foil after you add alittle more dressing then bake it, the sealed foil almost steams it,don't over bake it...

I shot this head tonight at 20,30,and40 yards and was very pleased.The 40 yard shot was about a half inch low but dead center.I was shooting at a very small target so the half inch could have been me.
