Finally got around to shooting my Exomax before my hunt. I never take the Exomax hunting until I've done a fair share of shooting it. Wouldn't you know the Shadow Zone scope failed. Won't hold zero and is very inconsistent. Been wanting to upgrade so I bought an Excalibur Twilight DLX off Amazon so ...

I just got back from putting some out in full view of my trail cameras. I'll let you all know what I get pics of.

I have to run out and get some almond extract. But for shots I mixed a tea spoon of vanilla extract with a teaspoon of pure home made maple syrup. And boy does it not smell at all what I was expecting. Smells like bourbon, not sweet at all. Tastes delicious tho! Drink enough of it and you will fall...

Don't have my Exomax readily available and need to know what it's limb width is cocked. Looking at a new blind and need to see if the bow is too wide for it.

I believe the best advice is to put the best scope you can afford on your crossbow and then practice a lot. If and when funds become available then seriously consider a scope upgrade if needed.
