Re: First Shot Problems!! Need Help
All of my arrows are numbered. I have taken the arrow that shot high on the first shot and shot it 6 more time and it hits perfect. I have tried several different arrows to see if there is a difference and there was not. I just got done going over all of the screws again and I tightened the scope sc...

First Shot Problems!! Need Help
I have two Micro 335 first gen bows. One of them is throwing the first shot of every practice session 4 inches high, after that it will shot very nice groups at 20, 30 40 yds. I have gone over the bow and can not find anything loose. My other bow is fine. I am shooting Spynal Tapps with 110 grain in...

Re: Broadhead alignment
Amen on the Spynall Tapps Wildcatter. I recently purchased my second doz., and they are amazing. I shoot Slick Trick Mags and Wac ems and shooting off of shooting sticks, both broadheads shoot spot on with my field tips at 40 yds. That is my max and I have not tried them at longer distance. When you...

Re: Double Tapp Inserts???
You are correct Robert, he was not saying they will make your bow into a rifle, just that the arrows were capable if the shooter was, Dave

Re: Double Tapp Inserts???
Jerry claims they will shoot in 2" at 100 yds. That should work for my 30 yd hunting. Dave

Re: Double Tapp Inserts???
For those that were like me and knew nothing about the Double Tapp insert, They are a 4" long insert that will come glued into the shafts that you purchase. Jerry guarantees they will never come out and will replace the arrow if they do. First time that I have talked to Jerry: Very impressed. T...

Double Tapp Inserts???
I have been trying to call Tapp Nation Archery for 3 days and can get nothing but a busy signal. I am going to be ordering some Spynal Tapps and would like to have more info on the Double Tapp Insert. Does anyone out there have any knowledge about them? I now shoot Black Eagle Zombies with 110 Gr. B...

??? Spitfire Shooters ???
I have always shot fixed blade broadheads but this year I am thinking about trying NAP Spitfires. I have read a lot of positive remarks on this forum about this head. My questions are, do you use and trust the practice head, and do your heads shot with your field points, the third and most important...

Re: Shortening a Matrix stock
I used 3/16 screws for pins, just cut the length that you need and the thread will give the pin good bite. I made two U shaped blocks to clamp onto the stock to use as a guide to make parallel cuts. This is very important so that the two faces mate up when you put it all back together. The cut was m...

Re: Shortening a Matrix stock
I cut an inch out of a micro stock for my wife. I took an inch out of the bottom rear of the stock and an inch out from under the cheek piece. I then drilled all pieces to insert pins. This is a little tricky, but what I did was glue the pin into one side and then oval or over size the other side an...

Re: Tree Bolts
I have used this system for years, I have found that the drilled hole will close while a hole caused by a screw in step will not. I live in Maple country and they drill holes every year and the trees heal themselves. Pulling the bottom bolts helps with stand security also.
