Cutting Down Micro Stock??

Has anyone tried to take an inch out of the Micro But Stock? My wife has started to hunt with me and the regular length of pull is a little long. Mild weather she is ok but when she puts on heavy clothes she has trouble. I have been looking at the stock and I think that it would be possible to take ...

Re: Cull Buck??

Bases look like a 1 1/2 yr old with a lot of potential, A cull buck is a 4 or 5 yr old that has a 100 inch rack.

Re: 2 in NY with Matrix

I live in SW Pa. and the 3 up rule is the best thing that has happened in this backward state in a long time. Our season ended on Nov. 12th. The rest of the east coast will be hunting until end of Jan and some more. The antler rule has been great. I have hunted in Canada, Ohio,W VA, Md., Illinois an...

Re: anyone use wac em broadheads?

I started using them this year and I have been very impressed. They shot just like the field points. I Killed a 20 inch 9 pt and a very large doe, broad head preformed perfect. I was always a Slick Trick man, but this year I was having trouble getting them to group the way they did in the past. The ...

Re: Best Matrix/Micro Series Crossbow Poll

My vote goes to my 2 Micro 335's. Can not choose between the camo or the black. Thankfully I do not have to choose, they hang side by side and I can pick up either.

Re: TT Single Stage in my Micro

Have you used a trigger gauge to test the actual pull required to drop the hammer? I am not unhappy with the triggers on my Micros but I keep reading how great these are and it might be something I would interested this winter. Thanks, Dave

Re: TT Single Stage in my Micro

Can you adjust the weight on the TT triggers? I do not shoot my varmint rifle at that weight. Thanks, Dave

Re: How far is too far?

X2, I feel that too many people think that a crossbow is closer to a gun than it is to a bow. This has been my first year with a crossbow and I felt very hesitant to shot past the yardage that I would shot with a horizontal bow. I shot a buck and a doe and they were both inside of 25 yds. The buck r...

Re: Question about my weight....

As noted by others, it would be best to pull your front inserts and install heavy brass inserts. That way you have the total option of any 100 or 125 gr head that is on the market. I shoot 110 gr. inserts and 100 gr Slick Trick Mags and they shoot like darts out to 50 yds , just the same as field po...

Re: Brace height vs limb stress

How far is your string off of the bumpers? I just replaced the limbs on one of my Micro 335's and I am very diligent at keeping my brace at 1/4" off of the bumpers. The bow was cocked and sitting in a ground blind when the limb split length wise. No damage done to anything else that I can see. ...

Re: Nikon Bolt- No Speed Ring???

X2 !!! on the Nikon Bolt. This is a great scope. I have two of them on my two Micros and the cross hair sighted in at 20 yds will put the first ring at 30 and the 2nd ring at 40 yds. I have not gotten around to checking the third ring, but it is going to be close to 55 yds. That is the only thing wr...
