Oh another thing I forgot to ask the people with the kryptec. The scope that came with the crossbow does it have flip up lids or do they have the lids with a elastic connected to both lids?

Yet to find any reference to it online. Although I swear I saw one on a bow in kryptek

I looking into getting this bow and it seems to be in good deal at a supplier at 899. woundering what are you guys thoughts over the others. not sure if its going to have new lineup in the 2019 yr

I can tell you from 10 years experience that the Equinox is a great bow. It's a little heavy and wide for some but I use mine for walk and stalking without any problems.
